Sincerity Vs Bias / 'Pakistan-Kashmir' Comparison

In all of the arguments and their refutations among the people of different factions in Kashmir, regarding the political discourse, some ostensible arguments of those who argue against the 'general concept' remain unanswered in broad terms. The cause of the idea which is contrary to what is generally accepted by people at large can only be discerned whilst studying the nature and base of the dichotomy and the authenticity of the blaims blamed by the blaimers against the 'general concept'. Hence, we will -insha'Allah- dive into the dim, disparagely, to put some light on what is being exaggeratingly associated with us and the bias of the blamers who indulge in deviating the masses to add more people into their illicit and heretic camp.

{Just for those who may vary in the opinion as to what is the 'general concept' ragarding the political solution of Kashmir, i convey to them that it is Kashmir's Merger with Pakistan based on Islamic brotherhood; and the blamers who criticise this idea are our so called "Roshan-Khaya
l" (seculars) people and those who are newly formed, seemingly (as it seems to me), a wall between seculars and common ideological people.}

Lets proceed:

1. They say: "That Pakistan is an occupier of Azad Kashmir and they only want Kashmir's land and resources, Pakistanis dont care about people of Kashmir but just its water."

Well lets say that the part of Kashmir which is administrated by Pakistan is actually occupied by Pakistan, but it rapidly takes us back to the history of the conflict where we find that these were Kabayli Mujahideen of Pakistan who after hearing the Jammu mass massacre of 700,000 Muslimeen at hands of patiala (indian) army and maharaja's army in a joint operation to clean jammu of its vast Muslim population (whose stories of sufferings of muslims if you hear even now, you would pity on yourself from sitting back and not taking revenge), they landed with their ammunition on the border of Kashmir, entered the areas of Kashmir and engaged in Jihad and drove hindu army back from the territory which is today's Azad Kashmir. It was with the help of Allah that they conquered or liberated Azad Kashmir but unfortunately were unable to advance to occupied Kashmir. The lies which have been ascribed to these pious Mujahideen of Pakistan and the way these seculars believe upon them shows the corruption in their Emaan. If only, these Mujahideen had fought hindu forces in Azad Kashmir for the sake of worldly benifits, then we should atleast be able to see some of the Kabayli descendents living in Azad Kashmir in these times or there must be any sign which elucidates Kabayli occupation of Azad Kashmir, the reality is that - they fought, won and left the place to its inhabitants. So where do you see these Soldiers of Allah committing any transgrssion against their Muslim brethern? If you argue on this, then we surely ask you for the authentic proof to defend your claim. How poor you are, O seculars ! how has shaitaan consumed you and has seized your head and has with held you from recognising the truth and rejecting the falsehood.

If Allah has created everything according to His wisdom and Will, then how come you blame Pakistan for having policy against Kashmir's limited resources. It is natural and logical that whatever suffices people for survival, they care for that and try to maintain that. Moreover, it is a phenomenon carved out by Allah that all the rivers of Kashmir should flow towards Pakistan, why do you disapprove Allah's design? or why are you jealous from it.? If we claim that Pakistan only fights for Kashmir because of water, it is tantamount to the thing that Pakistani people would claim that Kashmiri's only want to merge with Pakistan because of rice. Have you not heard anything about 'interdependence', this is not a distant country coming to loot you so your claim would be considered genuine, Pakistan is in our vicinity and we get to see many things we share with each other. If only Pakistanis will utilise their resources, which Allah has bestowed upon them, upto little percentage, they would be able to buy Kashmir and whole of north india from their wealth if allowed. So, even if we stop the waters of Kashmir from reaching Pakistan, by Allah, Pakistan will not be destroyed at all, instead, they will rely on mineral resources which will turn it into more prosperity. You should think of something different to lay blame upon Pakistan and falsely pretend to expose the bad intention of Pakistan. Where do you consider Islam in our relation with Pakistan? This secularism has made Ayaat of Allah obscure for you.

(We have during the passage of time witnessed the emergence of a different class of people, who call themselves as staunh Islamists but disagree Kashmir's Merger with Pakistan for some unknown reasons. It will be more sensible to refute their arguments than countering seculars, as of now, as they are the prime focus of this topic. So lets proceed)

2. They say: " We dont want to merge with a country where there is secular and democratic form of government, we dont want to live with them".

I see much sincerity in your arguments, by Allah, but what prevents you from opting for our merger with Pakistan needs to be explored and discovered. You say there is secular government in Pakistan!, you must acknowledge that the people there are fundamentalists by nature and we dont need to prove that, it is already established. However, i say there is no secularism in Pakistan's policy of governance, there is no freedom of speech against Islam, no non-muslim is a legislator in Pakistan's parliament. There is democracy but not secularism, and the only thing which prevents Pakistan government from implementing Islamic law is their own state of weakness in Emaan but not secularism. Moreover, if you desist from merging with Pakistan only because of secularism then i ask you, "why do you not consider secular population of Kashmir, who openly stand for secularism here?" Will you thow them out of Kashmir after freedom? or You will yourselves migrate to some desert, where there are no people against you? The answer to both these questions is NO, if a muslim is made to enjoin good and forbid evil. The only way forward to deal with seculars in Kashmir is to engage them in religious dialogue and convince them about Islamic values, and if they dont agree with you, the last resort is to fight them and with the help of Allah establish an Islamic state infront of them. Why should we not employ same policy regarding Pakistan, why should secularism or little number of seculars hinder the hearts of believers from uniting with each other? You are talking of Islam minus Muslim unity, how on earth we shall accept this when Muslim Ummah is one Ummah only! We are surely helpless as of now, but that should not procrastinate us and thus make us reject main objecticves of Ummah. Conclusively, the non-existing secularism in Pakistan does not prove your point here, we ask you for furthur reasons.

3. They say: " We dont want to merge with Pakistan because they have miserably failed to establish Khilafah and instead became slaves of United Snakes(states). So, we dont want ourselves to become slaves of america."

This is the truth, but there should be some equipment or process which we whilst using/applying, can tell us if all of the Pakistani people are slaves of america or just few factions of it. Imagine! if whole lot of people of Ummah say that "all Kashmiris are the slaves of india and there is no fun to help them through different means" - you will see them supporting their statement after looking at the mainstream political parties of Kashmir who are generally all puppets of india. What shall be your reaction towards them? If you ask me, i will drag them and get hold of their neck and tell them that all of the kashmiris are not the slaves of india. Similarily, when we put all Pakistani people in the same boat of american slavery, we find that we are unjust and BIASED against the innocent population of Pakistan. We must acknowledge the constant work done by Islamist organisations of Pakistan regarding the renaissance of Islam. When Tanzeem-e-Islami was created, Dr. Israr Ahmed -Rahimahullah- with the help of Allah was able to create 10,000 personnel in first two years, who were ready to sacrifice everything (what Dr. Sahab used to call Tann, Mann and Dhann) for the sake of Khilafah and from that time the number went on an increasing trend, today hamdulillah, we see there are a vast number of people who are totally into this work, sacrificing whatever they can for this pious goal. I ask you, my brothers -How many of us are ready to sacrifice our lives and wealth for the sake of Khilafah. We might recruit a good number of people for this job, but it needs to be organised to carry forward any work, which Pakistani Islamists are very good into, they are very well organised, their work is result oriented and we are '0' in organisation. And besides Tanzeem-e-Islami, Tableeghi Jamaat has done wonders in Pakistan, Jamaat-ud-Dawa has been very instrumental in different fields of Islamic renaissance. How should our conscience allow us to dissociate ourselves from these noble people, except when we understand things in a completely contrary manner? There is a need of analysis on our part about this subject, about which we have always been invariable. If i ask you why are Kashmiris slaves of india? why cant w relieve ourselves from it? Your answer will be simply that, we are living under indian occupation and we are helpless, then we must understand that if we are occupied by one country i-e, india, Pakistan is fought not by one country or two countries but three countries which are India, Israel and United Snakes, these enemies of Islam are trying to destroy Pakistan at all levels, these bombings and all are done inorder to dis-integrate Pakistan. The recent Karachi killings and Altaf Hussein's statements should be enough for us to understand that Pakistan is faced by many enemies within, who bow down to enemies of Islam wholly. Now, you may ask that Pakistan is a failed state then. I do not consider Pakistan a failed state even after this much dejection because i believe untill the Islamists of Pakistan keep working in their way, the help of Allah is not far. And -Naoodbillah- if these Islamists seize their work and bow down to enemies, that will be the only sign for calling Pakistan a failed state. See brothers, i am not supporting the so called government of Pakistan at all, but we should also take into account the support Pakistan government has provided to Kashmir by organised Jihad, financial support and many other things. It is them who trainded our Mujahideen, it is this heretic goernment which have alaways raised the issue of Kashmir when all other rulers and kings of Islamic countries have forgotten it. This ingenuine government of Pakistan has achieved what no other province of Islam has achieved, they have atleast obeyed one Ayat of Qur'an where Allah orders us to gather things of power against disbelievers, so as to strike the enemy of Allah and our enemy. I ask you, how many ayaat of Qur'an have we been obeying? The situation of Pakistan is such that if the Islamists inside it are not supported, applauded and adhered, the Ummah will have to face serious catastrophes. You must not ask to us the questions like, why only Pakistan? Why not other countries like malaysia, indonesia or egypt...?? By Allah this does not make any sense. Allying ourselves with Pakistan does not mean we dont like or love rest of the Ummah, but Pakistan is only more popular in Kashmir because of the nature of its cause, our love for all Muslims is equal to that of Pakistan. Reverberating the word 'PAKISTAN' in Kashmir serves the strategic interest. You must know that why india is providing more ground to seculars of Kashmir. If any political party works without any hindrance in Kashmir, it is only those associated with secularism. This must be aptly understood as to why seculars of Kashmir have more freedom to ask for freedom of Kashmir than other people. The thing is that they are void of Islam and they falsely deem Pakistan as same as india, which benifits none but india itself in a sense that it asks Pakistan to vacate Kashmir and stop raising this issue in any international forum. So at the end india wants kashmir to become its internal issue, so that no one would question them for whatever they do with us.

Furthur arguments...

4. They say: "There is much Shirk in Pakistan, we dont want to be a part of Mushrik state. Let Pakistan establish Khilafah first, end this shirk, then we will think of merging with them".

As for what you claim about presence of shirk in Pakistan, i cant say no there is not. Indeed a vast number of Pakistanis are invloved in shirk like grave worshipping and other things. We must definitely be concerned with this grave situation. But a glance at our own backyard tells us something same. Driving from Hazratbal to Lalchowk in srinagar, we see Mazaars and Astaans after every handspan with people thronging them for worship. We must strongly stand up to finish off shirk from all societies. And coming to your opinion that let Pakistan establish Khilafah first, I cannot dispute this because this is your opinion and it is different than my opinion and this is a thing where difference of opinion does not prove more fatal. I would prefer to merge even with democratic Pakistan for the reason that it will give me a chance to work with the noble Muslims of Pakistan for the Islamic renaissance, who are very well organised in their work and updated about all developments of world regarding anti-Islamic policies of anti-islamists.
However, i think that any prior judgement in this regard does not hold any significance as this depends upon how things will unfold in future.

5. They say: "We want to live as a seperate province and not as a part of Pakistan in a Global Islamic Khilafah"

If in all of your arguments, i see the most valid and genuine demand, it is this above one. But sincerely, this demand needs a specific time to be asked and it cannot be asked to anyone except the chosen Leader of Believers. We as Muslims have a right to ask for such things to our Ameer but only when there is such a system present among us. So for the time, it would be absolutely gracious and appropriate if you brothers would stand with us for the greater good, keeping your own desires, for which this is not the perfect time, aside for a while.

May Allah unite us for His cause. If we ask our enemies that whom they are afraid of the most then they say:

" We have defeated the arabs.!! Now, we have no fear of them at all. But we must have fear of Pakistan that they may rise up and stand in our way against us to destroy us."
These are the words of David ben gurion - Israel's first prime minister, he spoke them in Paris when Israel defeated 6 arab countries all at once in 1967 war which continued for 6 days. This was the time when Pakitan even did not possessed Nuclear weapons.

David Ben Gurion furthur says:

"There is a country called Pakistan. They are the lover of the arabs. These Pakistanis are more dangerous to us than arabs. They hate jews, they want to finish us. They are only second country to have an ideology like us, based on religion. We have to finish these Pakistanis, wipe them off the map, India can help us to finish them. We have to get rid of them, kill them, plot bomb blasts there, send spies. We have only one option.. kill Pakistanis or get killed. Whereas, the inhabitants of indian peninusla are hindus whose hearts are full of hatred against Muslims, throughout history, like those of christians of spain, that they had demonstrated in 1492, by eliminating all of them, after they had ruled them for eight centuries. Therefore, india is most important country that provides the base for us after spain to work there against Pakistan. It is important for us that we exploit this base and strike and crush Pakistanis, the enemies of Jews and Zionism, by all disguised and secret plans."
December 6 1983 speech.

I would not feel reluctant to compare these words of David Ben Gurion with the words of Abu Sufyaan which he spoke at Uhad. It was when Rasulullah SAW and Sahabas gathered on a mountain pass after the assault of Khalid bin al-Waleed, Abu Sufyaan advanced to the mountain pass and shouted:

" Is Muhammad (SAW) among you"?

Rasulullah SAW ordered all Sahabas to stay calm and dont reply.

Abu Sufyaan furthur said:

"Is Abu Bakr (RTA) among you?"

again no reply from Sahabas.

Abu Sufyaan furthur said;

"Is son of Al-Khattab (RTA) among you?"

again no reply from Sahabas.

Abu Sufyaan went on saying: " all of them are dead! and thats why you dont reply me''. after this, Sayyedina Umer Ibn al-Khattab RTA said to him:
"Our dead are in Jannah and your dead are in fire."

The similarity between words of Abu Sufyaan and David Ben Gurion can be easily understood. Abu Sufyaan, a very intelligent man knew that if after Rasulullah SAW, there was anyone among Muslims who could unite them and keep them intact upon their deen, it was none other than Abu Bakr RTA, and that is why he asked for Abu Bakr RTA after Rasulullah SAW, and if after Abu Bakr RTA, there was anyone who could keep Muslims united and keep them intact upon their deen, it was none other than Son of Al-Khattab RTA and thats why he asked for Ibn al-Khattab RTA after Abu Bakr RTA. So my point is that David Bin Gurion knew in 1967 only that if the jews have to fear any other country after arabs, it is none other than Pakistan and that forced him to discuss Pakistan with his fellow zionists even before Pakistan achieved nuclear weapons. Do not think that David ben gurion was foolish, wallah he was as inteligent as Abu Sufyaan, who could easily conceive every action of enemies and their threats and thus plan accordingly. The intelligence of Abu Sufyaan holds high status in history, he escaped Rasulullah SAW and Sahabas when they tried to attack his caravaan which came from syria to Makkah which later resulted in Gazwa e Badr. When some passer by told him that he saw around 300 soldiers marching somwhere, Abu Sufyaan feared that they might be Muslims of Madinah coming to attack his caravaan. So he marched back from other route from where Muslim army had passed before and took the camel dung from there and found that it contained seeds of dates. After that he said: Indeed none among the arabs feed their cattle with dates except the people of Madinah for they have date crops in abundance, so with this he was sure that Muslim of Madinha were following him. so he took other route and reached to Makkah, mobilised his army and met Muslims at BADR.

This comparison must keep us vigilant about the intelligence of our enemies and we must fully employ all sources to withstand them. Now, it is clear to us atleast that if there is any threat to enemies of Islam from the Muslim camp, it is none other than Pakistan. When Sahabas and Tabi'eens would give up their lives in the way of Allah for securing the walls of their fortresses from enemy attacks, should we not stand to secure the most valuable asset of Ummah which is in Pakistan, wallah, if we do not secure this asset, i see this will become highly vulnerable. Instead of dissociating our ways from this asset, we must rally around it to guard it for this is the blessing of allah upon us. If untill this time, Masjid al Aqsa stands, it is by the grace of Allah and this asset of ummah.

Comparatively, we see many things similar between Kashmir and Pakistan, and our blaim against Pakistan for those shortcomings which we also possess ourselves cannot be called SINCERITY at all but BIAS. Furthurmore, i see that Pakistan is better than Kashmir in many faith and conviction based areas, which need to be acknowledged to replace the BIAS with SINCERITY.
Any furthur arguments from any section are most welcomed and shall be with the grace of Allah answered in a decent manner.

Thanks for your time. May Allah bless you and me.

"Resolution Of Kashmir" - Declared as the Best Resolution by International Center of Religion and Diplomacy , USA

By : Mehboob Makhdoomi
"I do not find any point in starting this essay with the history of Kashmir. In my essay, only few historical instances will be brought into the lime light, where ever required.

Resolution of any problem can be ascertained by the deep understanding of the cause of the problem.kashmir imbroglio, although being a vexed issue is not complicated to understand at all. History stands witness to each and every incident. I repeat, it’s crystal clear. Then the question arises, why is it still unresolved even after 60 years? There are many answers to it. India’s adamance, few mistakes by Pakistan, and last but not the least is the confused Kashmiri leadership.

It is not wise to call Kashmir just a bilateral issue. The fate of 13.6 million people can not be decided by the two foreign countries or any organization which does not represent Kashmir’s truly. Pakistan's representation of Kashmir is always being seen at, with dubious eyes at the international platform. No country can trust Pakistan’s sayings about the condition of Kashmir. Many countries and organizations perceive India and Pakistan both as occupants and do not differentiate them, saying both of these nations have their vested interests in it.So my point is that the bottleneck of the problem is weak and bifurcated Kashmiri separatist leadership, so are the people. This has given rise to the two obstacles in between Kashmir and its freedom.

1. LOSS OF THE FREEDOM PASSION; Kashmir’s have never felt to be part of India, they always aspired for their freedom, but they were predominantly ignorant, so they needed a reliable, wise and influential torch bearer. They got few but at the end of the day all of them turned out to be cheaters. so due to the known reasons, violence broke out in the valley. It was not the war between few organizations and India. It was a civil war. It was raised by the local populace of Kashmir, it was so popular that if India would not have been able to succeed in confusing the militant outfits and the people of Kashmir and if it would have persisted 1 or 2 years further with the same zeal and passion, India had to leave the valley. India’s first success was the internal rift in Kashmiri militants, a gang war like situation prevailed, when hizbul mujahideen and Jammu Kashmir liberation front began to kill each other due to their ideological differences, leaving the war against India aside. So with this, local population was divided as both these outfits had mass public support.
This broke the back of Kashmir freedom struggle.

The second setback to the struggle was a very ugly name in the history of Kashmir, i.e. KUKA PARRAY, the very unfortunate formation of so called ikhwaan. India succeeded in indoctrinating hundred's of kashmiri youth, majority of whom were former millitants,to surrender and gave them arms, ranks, unlimited power and utilized them to curb the militancy, because, they being locals and involved in militancy before, knew each and everything about the militants, their thinking and way of operating. Although majority of these so-called ikhwanis have been killed by the militants now, but the damage done by them to the freedom struggle is irreparable. This second setback cooled everything down and this betrayal even killed the freedom passion in the local populace. There was a lack of trust. Nobody would know who is who. Even there were many families which had its members in different rival organizations. On the whole, India played a very intelligent politics in curbing Kashmir’s struggle. India could not have been successful in doing all this directly without getting locals into it.

2. INADEQUATE INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT; According to united nations resolutions, Kashmir is a disputed territory whose people have to exercise their rights through a free and fair plebiscite under U.N. So this dispute was internationally recognized, but now Kashmir has lost that support to a great extent. There are again 2 reasons for it. a).immediately after the armed resistance erupted in the valley, there was a huge exodus of minority pandit community, a plan mainly engineered by the then governor general of Kashmir, Mr. Jagmohan, and many other unpopular reasons are responsible for it. This helped India to label the Kashmiri uprising purely Islamic; India was successful to frame this issue on communal lines, to a great extent. So this defamed the uprising in many parts of the world.

b). Another setback was the September 11, 2001 attack on twin towers and pentagon in the united states of America, after which America’s 'war against terror' was launched all over the world. So in this post-9/11 world, it became hard for international community to differentiate between freedom struggle and terrorism. The word 'terrorism' became so popular that anybody with a weapon, for any cause, was labeled as terrorist. According to America, their prime suspect was Sheikh Osama bin laden, for whom they attacked Afghanistan and then suspected him to be in South Waziristan, which is a Pak-Afghan border area. America found Pakistan to have huge no. of Osama sympathizers, and Pakistan somehow managed to convince America and saved itself from devastation, although it was at the brink of it. So, now it was a cake walk for India to link Kashmir issue with the international terrorism. According to India, 9/11 attack had a direct link with Kashmir and it even succeeded in highlighting this link to a great extent. So these two reasons, especially the second one destructed the Kashmir’s international support as India claimed to be the terror victim like USA.
So, till now I have sorted out the basic two problems, which if dealt with delicately, and solved, the day is not far when we can see a free Kashmir.

Now the remedies to solve the problems;

50% of the problem is solved if its cause is predicted and then understood properly so at the present moment by figuring out the causes of this problem, we have solved it partially.There are two steps to be taken to resolve the Kashmir dispute, which means to solve the above two problems. So the two steps of remedies are;

1. Revival of that freedom passion in Kashmiri people which was in them at the inception of the popular uprising.

2. succeeding to get the sincere interference of international community especially the major players like United States and United Kingdom.

The second step is spontaneous to the first one.

1. REVIAVAL OF FREEDOM PASSION IN THE PEOPLE; I strongly confront to this notion that Kashmir’s are tired of striving for freedom. It’s only because of the impaired leadership machinery. Even being without a monopolistic leader, Kashmir’s still continue to strive for their goal to a great extent. They still boycott august 15, India s Independence Day, October 27th, when Indian troops entered Kashmir, all elections under Indian constitutions and many more. Although Kashmiri leaders do proclaim a strike call on these days but the reality is that the people do it for themselves and not for the call given by these leaders. But we can not deny the fact that a sincere leader is indispensable for this goal to be accomplished. So my point over here is the need of a passionate, sincere, knowledgeable leader, who has a full public backing. Revolution has always been brought up by single persons, so we have to wait for such a person for whose tones people will dance to. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah had enjoyed such a support just few decades ago but he failed at the end and ditched his own people. Now we need one more sheikh, provided he does not ditch the people. I am emphasizing the element of the public support enjoyed by him.

Mathematically, we need sheikh Abdullah - treachery.

Such a person even has the ability to mesmerize the people with his demogoguery. He can bring all the people from all shades under one roof and set a common goal for them. Kashmir’s should not abstain to such a situation saying it can lead to more violence, but they should comprehend this fact that everyday people die and nobody cares, it has become a norm of the life now. So is it not better to face it at once by facing the Indian pressure and coming out on the roads irrespective of age, sex, educational backgrounds etc etc ? Exactly the situation of 1989 is to be rejuvenated, but without the gun. gun can be detrimental to the struggle this time, it can give room to India for calling itself terror victim and earn sympathy. So the war is to be waged with power and passion, as was done before but including intelligence and unity this time. The whole world is to be shambled with such local protests. Educated youths are to be involved in this and they be given chances to enter the revolutionary machinery, so that they can go front and speak up in front of the world effectively. It is to be highlighted at the intellectual level. It should become a fashion. People should know what their actual rights are. And all this can be done by that leader who can get the masses behind him.

India has always been strategic in curbing the voice of Kashmir by enforced disappearances, rapes, plunder, custodial killings, imposition of various draconian laws like POTA (prevention of terrorist activities act),AFSPA(armed forces special powers act), artificial ghosts in early 90's to terrorize people and now their latest trend is to indoctrinate Kashmir’s new generation. This year India conducted Gandhi jayanti on a high level in Kashmir asking students to participate in it and even chief minister Ghulam nabi azad asked people to follow Gandhi's principles in this life and keep Islam for the hereafter, and recently on an eve of children's day, children were asked to recite the much debated and controversial Indian patriotic song VANDE MATARAM, which is not only against the kashmiri sentiments but even against Islamic sentiments. This is a religious interference. This is the most dangerous Indian strategy, which could be detrimental to the cause of Kashmir to a great extent, if not dealt with properly. People, especially children should be made aware of these deep conspiracies hatched by New Delhi.

2. SUCCEEDING TO GET THE SINCERE INTERFERENCE OF INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY AND EVEN THE UNITED NATIONS; as I said earlier, this step is spontaneous to the first one. When such a scenario comes into the being, there is no other way out for the world community to force India for solving the problem.International community never takes cognizance of any dispute unless it is not serious and a threat to the world or regional security. Kashmir dispute has already caused 3 wars between Pakistan and India and now both of these arch rivals have nuclear power, so the next war between them is a threat to the whole of South Asia and the world peace. So this threat is to be practically realized by the world. Pakistan has been pressurizing the world even on this point but as I said earlier that now it is not being considered true Kashmir representative. Islamic world should be insisted to play a role in it. Organization of Islamic countries (OIC) conducts Islamic conference every year and every time expresses its solidarity with the Kashmir cause, but just verbal support does not suffice. All Islamic countries should stop all kinds of trade and relation with India and pressurize it to solve Kashmir. I am emphasizing Islamic countries, because we all know that Kashmir is a Muslim majority place so getting such kind of support is pragmatically comparatively very easy. After getting the Islamic support, Kashmir should turn towards the west. It should organize programmes in which English speaking youth be nurtured and made knowledgeable about the issue and sent to the universities of the United states, united kingdom, Australia and even to the strong Indian allies like Russia. This program should be launched at the high level with huge funds and responsible, knowledgeable people to take care of it. So in this way, Kashmir can build up its young intellectual army against India with non violence and India will be bound not to do anything with it.

CONCLUSION; India is a big country with an obdurate stand on Kashmir, so kashmiris should follow the above furnished two point theory of reviving their freedom passion and getting international support, with patience and perseverance.i am sure it is not difficult to do, but it needs joint efforts. Although Kashmir’s are making efforts but not in the right direction, all efforts by them should make one confluence and form an effort pool. I am certain this is the only best solution for it, which is really productive and does not ask for lot of blood shed.

Achievability Factor While Deciding Merger with Pakistan In comparison to Independent State

Limitations of Indigenous Struggle Achievability Factor While Deciding For J&K’s Accession or Independence A Rational Analysis An Open Invitation for Discussion to All Advocates of Independent Kashmir

Indigenous (Kashmir-only) effort on our part cannot yield us desired results, for the fact that it has some serious flaws and understanding those flaws is a must. This suggestion should not be taken in a pessimistic way or as a discouraging discourse, but in the light of facts and validity of our argument. This discussion should be scholarly in nature, than ugly and uncivilized. Further, it is not intended to create mistrust and undue grudge against each other, but to cultivate a healthy society patient enough to look for pros and cons of the decisions we make.

I have firm belief that we are a capable lot and we can produce global leaders. We are hard working, talented, sincere and highly motivated for accomplishing the mission we have undertaken. However, ignoring ground realties, underestimating opponent, negating dynamic nature of current geo-political scenario and exaggerating one’s own strength and thus efforts are detrimental, if ignored in deciding the methodology of our struggle.

Ground realities
a) India is a mighty country and its exhaustion, weakness or fatigue is unexpected, at least in near future.
b) Armed struggle cannot fetch us territorial gains, but at the most, it will bring India on to the negotiating table. However, armed struggle in Kashmir has faded, and even if revived, it will be bloody and won’t help much.
c) Public protests, even of the order of 1990’s and 2008 -10’s could not yield results. In future, anything less or equal to that won’t shake India. India, to some extent, has become immune to such periodic mass movements.
d) Pakistan’s current situation is such that its current government cannot pressurize India.
e) India has strong business ties with world powers and even with leading Muslim countries.
f) India is growing and becoming more and more influential.

Deduction-1: India is a mighty influential nation and exerting pressure on it needs more than what we as Kashmiri’s have or could have done.

UN’s dubious role & futility of our protests
a) UN in past has failed to protect Muslim interests in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan, Chechnya, Iran & Kashmir. But it didn’t fail in creating and protecting Israel, liberating East Timor, in invasion against Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. While developing our course of action should we, or should we not consider this trend in UN deliverance policy.
b) Our public protests are not incurring any direct loss on to India. These protests are aimed to win world sympathy and pressurize India through UN or US. In this scenario considering our struggle against mighty India as indigenously adequate is nothing but imprudence. Our struggle is highly dependent on external support that our protests may or may not yield. However, at the outset, external influential and potential helpers like US and UN, being innately indisposed towards Muslim causes, render our protests futile.
c) Inverse analysis however, brings forth that Global extremism has risen and entire world is scared of Muslims. Today, world will not easily let any Muslim region succeed and permit emergence of an exemplary Muslim state. West wants moderate, secular, liberal, democratic and westernized disposition in Muslims. Muslims on the contrary have always tried to resist any sort of alien influence. This cold war is on an increasing trend. Without classifying this trend as positive or negative, we must acknowledge, that it is there acting as a hindrance, to put across the demand for an independent Kashmir, which obviously will be Muslim majority state.

Deduction-2: It is very much unlikely that UN, US, EU or West will come to our rescue; neither can we double-cross them by pretending to be altogether secular.

Indian stand point and thus our hurdles
India cannot act generously in resolving Kashmir for its own good reasons;
a) Setting Kashmir free dangers total disintegration of India.
b) It can encourage insurgencies in north-east, south and Punjab.
c) It can cause rise in Hindu fundamentalism and can trigger nationwide riots.
d) It can be harmful for 200 million Indian Muslims.
e) It can destroy its so called secular fabric.
f) It can aggravate Naxal problem.

Deduction-3:While exercising choice between “loss” and “big loss”, surely “loss” is opted for. The day India perceives Kashmir as a loss to avert big loss, it will leave us. But what circumstances, how and who will drag India to choose between “loss and “big loss” is the subject that needs to be assessed.

Our drawbacks
a) India has well developed and fully functional pro-Indian lobby in Kashmir.
b) India exploits our bread and butter issues to stay with them.
c) We can’t help stop people participating in elections and pro-India activities.
d) India lures and attracts our youth to rich and progressing Indian markets.
e) Indian developmental schemes are temptation that most of us fail to resist.
f) Our indigenous efforts against mighty India suffer from fatigue and exhaustion.

Deduction-4:We require somebody sincere to hold front on our part, as long as we are silent, dormant or in hiatus. We need somebody, who can from outside scrutinize our struggle, while being comparatively pressure and influence free?

Assumptions
Let us assume that we have succeeded in bringing India on to the negotiating table. I repeat, this is an assumption (a huge one) that India agrees to negotiate over the demand of Azadi. This assumption requires another assumption that in spite of advocating Azadi, we will be friendly with Pakistan. While bargaining it is likely that;

a) Much of the Jammu province will go to India.
b) Ladakh will also go to India.
c) Gilgit, Baltistan will be retained in Pakistan.
d) Aksichin will continue to be held by china.
e) At maximum, few districts of valley, 2-3 districts from Jammu and AJK will be what can emerge as an independent Kashmir.
f) Land locked on all sides, it will be nothing more than, Nepal, Bhutan or Bangladesh and totally dependent on its neighbor’s.

Deduction-5: Geo-political limits of Independent Kashmir will not be one as we see it today on the world maps. It will be a small region slightly bigger than valley.

What does current geo political scenario teach us?
a) Countries like Bhutan and Nepal are not fully sovereign but pseudo sovereign.
b) Even nuclear armed countries like Pakistan duck to American pressure.
c) Even wealthiest Arab countries are not truly independent; they in spite of wishing could not help stop butchering of Gazan people, living in their own backyard.
d) Economic requirements supersede, even over the ideal of sovereignty.

Deduction-6: India’s ouster guaranties end to widespread confrontation with India, but it does not guaranty absolute sovereignty.

Apprehensions (If all of us support independent state, what kind of political scenario can emerge)?
a) In the process of resolution, nationalism will be the yard stick dominating Islamic values.
b) Sentiment of Kashmiri nationalism will strengthen in AJK, Gilgat and Baltistan.
c) Apart from India, Pakistan will fear losing territory and thus its interests in AJK, Gilgat and Baltistan.
d) Pakistani nationalistic sentiment can be in direct confrontation with Kashmiri nationalistic sentiment.
e) Pakistan will not only stop supporting us, but can create hurdles in Kashmir resolution.
f) India will attempt luring pro-independence camp, as call for standalone independence, opens a window of opportunity (a ray of hope) for Indian think-tank, to get hold of Kashmir through internal negotiations. I am not pointing my finger towards commitment of any pro independence leader, neither do I doubt. But this is the perception that governs Indian psychology while dealing with pro-independence camp.
g) We along with People in AJK, Gilgat and Baltistan will feel alienated from both sides.
h) Every progressing step towards Independent Kashmir will push Kashmir, more towards looking like Kurdistan than as Palestine.
i) Freedom struggle with its momentum increased will have more chances to die a spontaneous death.
j) Ultimately Indian stand and its occupation in Indian held Kashmir will be strengthened.

Deduction-7:At the outset, inclination shown by Indian strategists towards the concept of “Independence” is insincere and deceitful. When option of independence didn’t exist even in the UN Resolutions, in six decade old history of Kashmir, wasn’t it our mindset, engineered or hacked from being pro-Pakistanis to pro-independence?
What should be our strategy?
A good strategy can be drawn by considering all the above factors (Deductions 1 to 7) simultaneously. Let us analyze further and try to develop it, by rigorously questioning ourselves.
What should be our strategic objective to accomplish our mission? And as a matter of fact, what are the required resources to carry forward any struggle? What to target and what should be the target?
A deep and careful study of these questions, will lead us to a conclusion that the primary resource required is a favorable human being. Not his physical being, but his opinion, his view, his stand point and his ideology. Human beings are essential and most important resource in the kind of struggle we are in. Let us assume all Kashmir’s want freedom; this implies that we have with us a maximum of 10 million human resources. It is huge, but nothing in comparison to Indian human resource, which is of the order of 1000million. Ratio is of the order of (1:100) and this ratio again suggests negligible and poor success through our indigenous efforts. If we are able to motivate, say 50-60% people from Indian populace, we will get independence the next day. But what is the achievability index of getting Indian masses on our side?
How should we multiply our human resources? How can we generate mass opinion in our favour? How to make our human resource of 10million, become 20million, 40million, 60million and so on.

Our potential strengths (If all of us support merger with Pakistan, what will it reflect on the ground?)
a) In the process of resolution, Islam will be the yard stick dominating nationalistic values.
b) Euphoric sense of Islamic brotherhood will develop not only in Pakistan and Kashmir, but in the entire Muslim world.
c) On behalf of religious sentiment of 18 crore Muslim-Pakistanis, its Government can be employed in colliding vigorously with India on all possible fronts.
d) Pro-Pakistan administration of AJK, Gilgat and Baltistan will augment supporting merger with Pakistan.
e) Kashmir will dominate Pak-politics.
f) Pakistan’s strategic importance in Muslim world can help equate Kashmir with Palestine.
g) UN Resolutions, where there are only two options (Choosing between India and Pakistan) will redeem legitimacy.
h) India will fail to create a wedge in between Kashmiri’s and Pakistanis, which will bolster our efforts and may hurl India on to the back foot.

Conclusion:
Past 64 years have taught us that Indian civil society (including Muslims living in there) on account of events that have occurred, ever since the partition of the Indian-subcontinent will not concede to our demands. So, if it is not Indian masses, why cannot we divert our attention and target Pakistani public! Why cannot we concentrate winning 180 million friendly Pakistani Muslims? Winning them is winning Pakistani government. Winning Pakistani government is winning Saudi Arabia. Winning Saudi Arabia is winning entire Muslim world. Two billion Muslims are at our disposal, why do we ignore them, their potential, their view and their stand point.
If, in the capacity of a Muslim, Muslim Kashmiris’ fail to win favor of our own Muslim brethren, how and why should we expect others to favor us? And
a) How justified is it to focus on wining those, where winning potential is less.(Indian masses, UN, US, West)
b) How justified is it to ignore those, where our winning potential is more.(Pakistani public, Arabs, World Muslims)
We can look around the world, and ask ourselves this question, which nation, which area, which population is easy to win. We should assess, estimate and exert to have their opinion in our favor, so that our basic required resource multiplies.
In my humble opinion, this attitude is need of an hour, and it is a step forward towards shaping the strategy of our struggle. For independence, UN or US is not going to help us, but we have to look for help from within ourselves, within Muslim Ummaha. Local/Region centric strategies adopted by leaders, whether in Kashmir, Palestine, Pakistan or middle-east have failed to generate solution to miseries, globally faced by Muslims. We must understand that Indigenous struggle can be success only and only, if India turns out to be generous, but should we wait for it to turn generous or devise plans to move ahead?
My sincere suggestion is to win an easy target of 180-200 million Pakistani Muslims. We can propose autonomy! Yes Autonomy! But this time, within the domain of Pakistan. Attracting them, making use of their available potential and playing the great game, is need of an hour. It is not just heart & emotion, but ruthless and cruel mind and brains we need to work with. When we raise a slogan, Aaaar say lengay, Paaar say lengay. we are not winning anything but losing 180-200 million potential Pakistani helpers, A precious Resource!
